Service Description

Our Printhead Cleaning & Refurbishment service is designed for customers whose printheads have become partially blocked, ink-contaminated, or are suffering from poor nozzle performance. Simply send your printhead to our workshop, where one of our experienced print systems engineers will carry out a thorough assessment before using specialist cleaning techniques to recover ink flow and restore as many blocked nozzles as possible. The process includes controlled chemical cleaning, directional flushing of the ink channels, nozzle plate cleaning, flow testing, and a final performance evaluation. This service is suitable for printheads used in DTF, UV, and Sublimation printing systems. Our goal is to recover nozzle performance wherever possible, helping to extend the working life of the printhead and potentially avoiding the cost of a replacement. Once the refurbishment has been completed, we'll assess the results and classify the printhead based on its recovery performance. If a full recovery isn't possible due to permanent damage or severe contamination, we'll explain our findings and advise whether the printhead remains suitable for use or if replacement is the recommended option. This is a workshop-based recovery service and should be viewed as an attempt to restore printhead performance rather than a guaranteed repair. While many blocked printheads can be successfully recovered, issues such as electrical failure, physical damage, or severe internal blockages may prevent a successful outcome. Customers are responsible for securely packaging and sending the printhead to our workshop, with the service typically completed within approximately five working days, subject to the condition of the printhead and workshop workload.
