Service Description
🔹 What This Service Is (8Hr-Booking Slot to combat double booking - Actual On-site hours will vary depending on machine condition- Only on-site hours invoiced - Maximum 8hrs) This service covers reactive Breakdown & Call-Out support for DTF and UV printing systems. Unlike scheduled servicing, breakdown work is non-routine and charged separately from any preventative or annual service agreements. Breakdown services are provided when a machine is non-operational or severely impaired and requires on-site engineering attendance. Engineer's on-site time covers one machine per visit. 🔹 Call-Out Fee (What It Covers) A call-out fee applies to all breakdown visits and covers: Engineering preparation and tooling. Allocation of engineering availability. Initial diagnostic time on arrival. Labour, travel, and parts are charged separately and are not included in the call-out fee unless otherwise stated in writing. Call-out Fee = £125 🔹 Labour, Travel Labour Charges On-Site Labour is charged at £65 per hour. Travel Charges Travel is charged at £25 per hour, calculated from our base to your site and return. Base location - PR4 Travel time is rounded to the nearest 30 minutes. Fuel and standard vehicle costs are included for journeys up to 8 hours round trip. For journeys exceeding this distance, additional charges may apply and will be advised in advance where possible. 🔹 Long-Distance & Overnight Attendance Where travel exceeds 4 hours one-way, Laserprints.co.uk reserves the right to charge: Reasonable hotel accommodation. A fixed subsistence allowance. These costs are charged in addition to standard labour and travel fees. 🔹 Booking & Advance Payment Once a breakdown booking is placed, a 50% travel advance invoice will be issued. This invoice is Due on Receipt. Booking confirmation is issued only after advance payment has been received. 🔹 Important Notes Breakdown services are best-effort reactive support and do not guarantee same-day resolution. Parts availability, machine condition, and fault complexity may affect repair times and outcomes.
