🔹 What This Service Is (1Hr booking window for booking confirmation, repair hours will vary) Printhead Cleaning & Refurbishment is a controlled, professional recovery process designed to restore ink flow and nozzle performance on partially blocked or ink-contaminated printheads used in: UV printers DTF printers Sublimation printers This service focuses on chemical, mechanical, and flow-based remediation, not electrical repair or nozzle reconstruction. 🔹 Service Process ( 5 Working Day Return ) Package & Post your printhead to our workshop Initial assessment & viability check Controlled chemical soak Directional flushing Nozzle plate cleaning Flow balance check across channels Final condition report Pass 100% / Partial Pass 75% - Printhead returned to client Fail outcome declared 0% Recovery - Printhead returned or discarded on clients request 🔹 What This Service Does ✔ Breaks down dried, gelled, or partially cured inks ✔ Clears blocked or restricted ink channels ✔ Restores ink flow consistency ✔ Improves nozzle firing where blockage—not damage—is the cause ✔ Assesses whether a printhead is recoverable or beyond economic repair 🔹 What This Service Does NOT Do ✖ It does not repair burned or electrically damaged nozzles ✖ It does not rebuild piezo elements ✖ It does not guarantee full nozzle recovery ✖ It does not reverse UV ink curing inside the firing chamber ✖ It does not override manufacturer end-of-life conditions If a printhead has suffered electrical strike, prolonged dry firing, UV exposure, or internal delamination, cleaning may have limited or zero effect. 🔹 Who This Service Is For This service is suitable for clients experiencing: Missing nozzles Partial colour dropout Ink starvation Cross-channel colour contamination Printers left unused for extended periods White ink settlement or blockage 🔹 Who This Service Is NOT For ❌ Printheads with confirmed electrical failure ❌ Printheads shorted by a damaged head board ❌ Heads physically scratched or nozzle-plate damaged ❌ Heads already diagnosed as “dead” by resistance testing In these cases, diagnostics or replacement is recommended instead. 🔹 Legal & Acceptance By proceeding with this service, the client acknowledges that printhead cleaning is a best-effort refurbishment process, not a repair or guarantee of full functionality. Printheads are consumable components, and prior use, ink type, storage conditions, and electrical history significantly affect recoverability.
