Service Description
🔹 Service Overview (Single Printhead systems ONLY) (8Hr-Booking Slot to combat double booking - Actual On-site hours will vary depending on machine condition- Only on-site hours invoiced - Maximum 8hrs) In-House Machine Repair & Service is a bench-based diagnostic, repair, and servicing solution for customers who can deliver their printer to the Laserprints.co.uk workshop. Location - PR4, 🔹 What This Service Does ✔ Diagnoses electrical, mechanical, and ink-system faults ✔ Repairs or replaces failed components where viable ✔ Services ink delivery, capping, wiping, and pump systems ✔ Addresses motion, carriage, and encoder-related issues ✔ Performs firmware, configuration, and communication checks This service focuses on correct diagnosis and controlled repair, not trial-and-error part swapping. 🔹 What This Service Does NOT Do ✖ It does not guarantee full restoration of aged or neglected machines ✖ It does not include printhead replacement unless quoted separately ✖ It does not include consumables unless agreed in advance ✖ It does not perform unsafe or uneconomical repairs If a machine is deemed beyond viable repair, this will be reported before further costs are incurred. 🔹 Supported Machine Types DTF printers UV flatbed & roll printers Sublimation printers Epson-based platforms Hoson-controlled systems Single-head Desktop configurations 🔹 Service Delivery Method 🏭 Workshop-Based Bench Service Machine delivered to Laserprints.co.uk Diagnosed and serviced in a controlled environment Test prints and verification carried out Machine returned ready for recommissioning ⚠️ Machines must be properly drained, secured, and packaged before transport. 🔹 Service Process Intake inspection & condition logging Fault diagnosis & viability assessment Client approval of repair scope Repair and/or servicing work carried out Functional testing Service report and recommendations provided 🔹 Turnaround Time Typical service window: 5 working days Dependent on fault severity and parts availability 🔹 Pricing Framework Flat-Rate Labour with Capped Time £25 per hour Maximum 8 hours billed (£200 cap) Parts, consumables, and specialist components quoted separately This ensures transparent, predictable costs for clients. 🔹 Legal & Acceptance Language In-house machine repair and servicing is carried out on a best-effort basis following assessment. Due to the condition, age, and prior history of machines, full restoration cannot be guaranteed.
